We are heading across the pond. Our academy has announced plans to join Royce Gracie and our extended Jiu-Jitsu family in Farnborough, England, October 15–18, for the 2026 RGJJ Network Gathering.
An instructor. Always a student.
The trip brings together black-belt examinations, promotions, and a commitment that does not end with any rank: continued learning. It is an opportunity to return to the mats with the Royce Gracie network, refine technical details, and exchange knowledge with fellow students and instructors.
Alongside the official RGJJ Black Belt Examination, our trip announcement highlights training with Royce and guest instructors including John Kavanagh, Denise Kielholtz, and Sebastian Otto.
Bringing the learning home
Our relationship with Royce goes back to 1993. Staying connected to that lineage means continuing to learn, not simply looking back at the past.
For the Wilmington academy, the purpose is practical: return with ideas, details, and perspective that support our students’ development. We are looking forward to reconnecting with the Royce Gracie family, supporting those testing, and celebrating the work behind each promotion.
From Wilmington to England, the journey continues. Follow our Facebook page for updates as we prepare to head across the pond.
